Welcome to Solaris Metal Cards (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a metal card customization service. By accessing our website, purchasing our products, or using our services, you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Solaris Metal Cards. If you disagree with any provision, you must immediately cease using our services.
By placing an order, creating an account, or using our website, you unconditionally accept these Terms. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time; continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance, and it is your sole responsibility to review these Terms periodically. By using our services, you consent to electronic communication for all agreements, notices and disclosures.
Product Description & Intended Use
Nature of the Product: Solaris Metal Cards provides customizable metal card accessories designed as a decorative replacement body. The product is strictly a decorative, non-functional collectible accessory and does not include any financial components, chips, NFC features, magnetic-stripe data, or account data of any kind supplied by us.
Intended Use: The product is for personal, non-commercial use only. Resale, redistribution, or bulk purchases require prior written consent. You agree not to use the product for illegal activities, fraud, money laundering, or any purpose violating applicable law.
Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
Modification Risks: You acknowledge that transferring components from your original card to the metal accessory involves inherent risks, including but not limited to permanent damage to a chip, magnetic stripe, or card functionality; accidental spills or misuse of adhesives; improper use of tools such as heat sources; voiding of your bank card's warranty or terms of service; and possible action by your bank or a regulatory authority.
No Liability for Damages: Solaris Metal Cards shall not be held liable for damage to your card, financial accounts, or personal data during or after modification; costs of card replacement, account penalties, or fraudulent transactions; loss of access to banking services due to card alterations; functional failures of any kind (e.g. ATM or terminal rejection); or issues arising from third-party services such as couriers, payment gateways, or banks.
Bank Compliance & Legal Obligations
Bank Card Ownership: Your original bank card is the property of the issuing financial institution. Altering it may violate your agreement with your bank under applicable banking regulations in your jurisdiction.
Prior Approval Recommended: We recommend you confirm with your bank that any modification of your card is permitted before proceeding. Many banks prohibit alterations and may deactivate a card or account as a result. Solaris Metal Cards is not affiliated with any bank, credit card issuer, or financial institution, and does not endorse or assume responsibility for their policies.
Legal Consequences: You alone bear responsibility for any fines, disputes, or penalties imposed by your bank or other authorities as a result of modifying your card.
User Responsibilities
Proper Use of Tools & Materials: Any chip transfer or card modification is performed by you, at your own risk. We are not liable for damage caused by improper use of adhesives, solvents, heat, or other tools. Ensure a safe, clean workspace and take care to avoid injury, spills or accidents — you are solely responsible for your own safety and well-being during any modification.
Financial & Security Monitoring: Monitor your accounts for unauthorized transactions following any card modification, and report a lost, stolen, or malfunctioning card to your bank immediately.
Age Restriction: You must be at least 18 years old to purchase or use our products. We reserve the right to request proof of age.
Prohibited Conduct: Do not use our products to impersonate, defraud, or infringe on the rights of any third party, and do not reverse-engineer, duplicate, or commercially exploit our designs.
Intellectual Property
All designs, logos, and content on our website are the exclusive property of Solaris Metal Cards and are protected under applicable copyright and trademark law.
If you submit custom designs for engraving, you grant Solaris Metal Cards a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, or modify that content for the purpose of fulfilling your order. You warrant that any design you submit does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party.
Solaris Metal Cards is an independent provider of decorative metal accessories and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to American Express, Visa, Mastercard, or any other card network, bank, or financial institution. Any resemblance to third-party card designs referenced on this site is for illustrative and artistic purposes only.
Data Protection & Privacy
We collect personal data (such as name, address, and any details you request to be engraved) as described in our Privacy Policy. We implement reasonable measures to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security, and you agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
Important: Please do not submit real, sensitive financial information in any design or customization form. Engraved details are cosmetic only and are not used to process payments.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Our products are provided “as is” with no warranties, express or implied. We explicitly disclaim any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, compatibility with your bank card or financial systems, or compliance with the policies of any bank or financial regulator in your jurisdiction.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Solaris Metal Cards' total liability is strictly limited to the purchase price of the product. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind; the acts or omissions of third parties such as couriers or banks; or force majeure events including natural disasters or government restrictions.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Solaris Metal Cards, its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims arising from your misuse of a product, violations of your bank's terms or applicable regulations, or third-party disputes related to your modified card.
Shipping, Returns & Refunds
Delivery timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed; we are not liable for delays caused by customs, couriers, or regulatory agencies. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation and, if unresolved, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates.
Force Majeure
Solaris Metal Cards is not liable for failures or delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including political unrest, strikes, internet or courier outages, natural disasters, pandemics, or changes in applicable regulation.
Termination, Severability & Amendments
We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, fraud, or illegal activity. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain fully enforceable. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Solaris Metal Cards regarding your use of our services.
